With our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora, you will experience one of the sahara desert tours. You will do camel ride camping in Berber tents. Note, this is not a tour to Merzouga Sand dunes of Erg Cehbbi. For this reason, we recommend you book 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga.

Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora via Ait Ben Haddou

In this 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora you will experience one of the sahara desert tours. We will take you to experience the camel ride and camping in Zagora Desert. Our guide will pick you up from Marrakech throw the high atlas mountains to Ait ben haddou Kasbah. Before, you will make several stops at the mountains, one at the argan cooperative and at the top of 2260m.

After you discover Ait ben haddou, we will drive you throw Ouarzazatz and ait Saouen to arrive to Zagora. Upon our arrival, you will do the camels before you go to the camp. Therefore, your luggages will be taken with the car to the camp.

Day 2: Zagora back to Marrakech

Today, we will drive towards Ouarzazate. Ahead, we will make a stop at Agdez, there is one of Morocco’s biggest sources of date palm trees. Thereafter, we will stop at Ouarzazate, as we don’t have time on the first day, we will stop to visit Ouarzazate. Overall, we will drive you back to Marrakech and that’s the end of our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora.

Siamo tornati dal deserto molto felici dopo aver incontrato Elhussein e la sua famiglia. Siamo anche andati a trovare i nomadi e abbiamo passato del tempo con loro. Siamo andati alla fabbrica di fossili, abbiamo visto uno spettacolo di musica dal vivo a Khamilia e mille altre attività. Ma ciò che riempie di più il cuore è la compagnia! Grande Elhussein come guida, ci ha capito perfettamente e anche un sacco di risate. Risponde a tutte le tue curiosità e la verità è che vuoi rivederlo appena lo saluti. E che paesaggio .... e che cibo .... !!! Meraviglioso!!!!

Chi non raccomanderebbe questo ragazzo? Io e i miei amici siamo d'accordo che la parte migliore del viaggio in Marocco è il deserto.... e con lui !!!!!!

My girlfriend and I did a tour to Morocco with Trips Around Morocco and everything was 100% arranged, we did 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora Mohamed was our driver and he did make it better then we thought, he is a really gentleman and he gives us enough time to stop and discover the places, Mohamed lives as a nomad he did take us to have lunch with his family and all was so delicious, we will do it once again with you guys!!

Ait Ben Haddou

The Kasbah of Ait Ben haddou is one of the Berber fortresses. Thus, you have about an hour, we will see how it became one of the Unesco heritage, and how the Berber touaregs used to live for trading their goods here. Note that this tour includes an English, Spanish speaking driver/guide. Therefore, you will have more explanation once there.

Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate or Ouallywood. Fortunately, in only 2 days from Marrakech to Zagora your able to visit on of the atlas studios. The city without noise or Ouarzazate is Hollywwod of Africa, expect studios of film making. Moreover, this city has many other Kasbah, the road from Ait ben Haddou further west is called the road of thousand Kasbahs.

Zagora

The best choice for travelers who have 2 days traveling only. Here you can not camp but also do camel rides. It does not have many sand dunes as Merzouga desert.
